Expanding sample data, providing early diagnosis
In the process of medical diagnosis and treatment, surgery and other invasive treatments often make patients scared, resulting in their hesitation in seeking medical attention. Because of that, we want to develop non-invasive diagnosis tools that can help doctors to better identify diseases at early stages, and allow patients to be treated in time.
Dermatoscope
The skin is the first line of defense for human health, blocking the direct contact between the human body and the external environment. However, the condition of our skin changes with age, environmental factors, climatic factors, diet, daily lifestyle and other things, this could cause different skin problems. It is impossible to identify all signs of skin problems by human eyes alone. For example: the initial symptoms of psoriasis, atopic dermatitis and skin lymphoma are very similar. In order to provide effective treatments for patients, we combine hyperspectral imaging technology with dermatoscope to help dermatologists identify pathological features, particularly those at initial stages, so they can make diagnosis faster and improve medical quality for patients.

Ophthalmoscope
The eye is the window of the soul, the most important medium for us to connect with the whole world of information. However, as we get older, the eyes gradually degenerate, and various problems may also appear. For instance, diabetic patients may have retinopathy, which can be divided into background diabetic retinopathy (BDR), pre-proliferative diabetic retinopathy (PPDR) and proliferative diabetic retinopathy (PDR) according to the severity. When integrated with ophthalmoscope, our hyperspectral image recognition technology can make it easier for physicians to interpret images, identify illnesses and track pathological changes.
Odontoscope
The oral cavity is the beginning of the digestive tract, which involves eating, grinding and cutting off food. Once the oral cavity is not well, it affects our daily lives. In severe cases, it may lead to inability to chew and mouth ulcers. For example: the initial symptoms of oral cancer are often difficult to identify. One of them could be just a slightly change of color in oral cells, which is not something can be easily noticed. However, the hyperspectral image detection technology integrated with odontoscope can effectively help physicians identify the early symptoms, including the color change, and perform cancer staging at the same time.
